The system opens a pull request for review before merging. The feature is currently available in public preview for GitHub Enterprise Cloud and Team users on github.com.

Liquid AI has released LFM2.5-2.6B, a new model built for local agent deployment on edge devices. Pre-trained on approximately 34T tokens with a 128K context window, the model achieves decode speeds of 220 tokens per second on an Apple M5 Max and features day-one ecosystem support.
GitHub has made the open-weight Kimi K3 model generally available in GitHub Copilot. Hosted on Fireworks AI, the model is rolling out gradually across Pro, Pro+, Max, Business, and Enterprise plans, with specific pricing listed for tokens.
Mistral AI has released Shieldstral, a 3B open-weights multimodal safety classifier available under the Apache 2.0 license. The model accepts plain-language policies at inference time to evaluate text and images, returning a calibrated safety score from a single forward pass without requiring model retraining.
Google DeepMind has open sourced its WeatherNext 2 and WeatherNext Cyclones models. According to the company, the models achieve leading accuracy in predicting cyclone tracks, intensity, and wind structure, giving meteorologists an extra day of predictive accuracy on average.
