A listing that clears the readiness audit and reads as an honest description of the page it points at goes up on its own; anything else waits for a person, who can still say no. Money buys a place near the front of that queue, or a week pinned above the board, nothing else.

Every listing is free and every listing is the same. There is no paid tier hidden behind this, and nothing here is worse for not paying.

If you would pay for placement, say so and we will tell you when we build it. Knowing somebody wants it is the only reason we would.
Tell us what you would pay forNobody has to carry it. Skip it and you launch on the same board, in the same queue, with the same page — there is no reduced tier and no asterisk on your listing.
What carrying it buys is narrow and real. We fetch your page on a schedule and look for a link pointing back at us. Finding one puts a verified mark on your listing and gives it the tiebreaker in the ranking: two listings level on votes are separated by the one whose site links back. It also puts you in the filtered list of verified tools, which is 2 of 779 published listings today.
It cannot do more than that. It never moves you above a listing with more votes, and it buys nothing from a moderator.
A site we cannot reach is recorded as unreachable, not as a missing badge — an outage is not a broken promise.
If we turn your listing down, the order is refunded in full — you paid for position in a queue, not for a decision. A sponsor slot can be refunded pro rata while it is running; it comes off the sidebar the moment we do.
