Why is Retrace worth using over standard logging libraries or generic APM tools when debugging AI agent failures?
Logging libraries and APM tools give you spans and stack traces you still have to reconstruct by hand. Retrace records the full execution of an agent run - every model call and tool call - so you can replay the failed run exactly as it happened, fork from the step where it broke, and test the fix against the original failure before deploying. It understands agent control flow: tool use, guardrails, and multi-agent handoffs.

Maker here. Built Retrace after losing a day to an agent failure I could not reproduce. Retrace records every model and tool call, so you can replay the run, fork from the failing step and test fixes.
